About
Dr. Joy Ablordeppey is a highly skilled family medicine physician of over 22 years. Raised with 14 siblings in a small village, her father raised her with a “We do not give up” attitude — an ideal she carries into her work each day.
Dr. Ablordeppey discovered her calling after having her chronic asthma treated by a physician’s assistant as a child. Through this, she found a love for helping others through their medical conditions.
A graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Medicine, Dr. Ablordeppey has expertise in treating areas including diabetes, high blood pressure, and kidney disease. After spending time in student health and urgent care along with 15 years of private practice, she believes that being a physician is both a calling and a mission.
Having raised six children — several of whom now also work in the medical field — she has instilled the value of education in healthcare. Further, she aims to give her patients the tools to make the best decisions for their health.
